24/7 Hagkaups

These shops really are something I would love to have in Finland.

They are big shops, full of about everything you need: like supermarkets but smaller scaled. They have also clothes, but great selection of food items. I really don't wonder why Icelandic people look so healthy, because the markets have great selections of healthy, organic and simple food items. They aren't filled with processed food which would be cheaper than the single/simple ingredient stuff.

The vegetables are fresh, and aren't displayed as bulk like in our stores, small amounts are visible in the shop and they really are fresh. In Finland, you have boxes and boxes of the same stuff, starting from leathery bell peppers to almost rotten pears. And the two major players in Finnish market just keep them on the display "You don't have any choice, eat this or go and grab something from the freezer".

One of the 24/7 Hagkaup's we've visited have buffet type of salad and ICE-CREAM counters:
Scoop your own ice-cream
Salad bar late at night, continues on the other side
Btw, this isle is way too dangerous to me. Icelandic wool yarn is really much better than Finnish Novita -yarn. Much less processed and the quality is amazing.

Oh, and my OCD had a field day with this decor sign. Not. ARGH.

These signs were nice, I need to make something like these back home:

- Miu, only one still awake :)

P.S. the cashier girl was AMAZING tonight. I would have loved to chat with her more. She must have been an imgurist or redditor, just because of all the talk about getting a beautiful cat.
